BOXelles

[This is in english, so Urska (who actually as a thing on the s - but i don't manage to make it in this font, hah) and everyone else i promised to translate it finally can read it! :) ]
While Urska, from Slovenia, was visiting me - we decided to take a little trip to Bruxelles!

Day 1 / 15th of july:
After that we got photographed for the cover of Limburgs Dagblad?!, we took the 12.07 train and got only one and a half hour later out of it in the middle of Bruxelles! Or well, Bruxelles-Midi:
'We can chose central or north station.' >'Okay, let's take central? Midi..that's middle right?' ... NOT. We ended up in the completely south; about 4km from our hostel. Great job! And guess what, Bruxelles turned out not to be as small as i thought. It was as if we walked in hours..through the most outlandish quarters. Nobody talked dutch, nobody understood english and my french wasn't working at all. But hey - we are here! in the Van Gogh Hostel, which is pretty amazing. Our key has a smiley :) and the garden is huuuge. I like!
We already met this Asian boy, who told us the way to the nearest supermarket and ended up in there himself as well.
'So, what's your name?' >'My name is long.' 'Ah okay, well - we can try to remember?' >'Yes, my name IS Long.'
Yes, Long. A vietnamese doctor with 3 colored balls and a talent for therapeutic sessions in which he found out Urska and i are friends because we both are clowns...right.
We decided to go DOWNTOWN. To check out Manneken Pis (naked), Jeanneke Pis and to let our Vietnamese friend eat french fries for the first time in his life!!!!! Wow. Later that night, the whole hostel united in the garden, and it was super cozy! My plans to go to bed early changed immediately and that's why i found us back in Café Délirium some hours later. This bar got into the Guinness Book of Records with 2004 kinds of beer, and now it's already 2654. And guess what, even i liked the beer! Apple beer and cherry-beer, awesome! The Japanese beer did taste a bit like champagne, but still good. So yea, we were with a lot of people! Laleah, a Canadian girl who even took her peanut butter out to the pub; Keiyu > Ku > Cow, our Japanese friend; Joel, the most funny Slovenian/Spanish Australian you'll ever meet and a couple more.
On the way back, Ku tried to teach us the difference between all asian people, but we totally failed.
'That one! He's from Korea.' >'No..he's from here. You suck. Maybe you should try guessasianpeople.com' :')
And i think that Ku in that same conversation described my impression of Bruxelles after a first day best: 'Men, even my shit smells better than this city' ...
We ended up in our huge garden with Joël, talking about cute boys, trove and a whole lot more.
'You know what that is, trove? It is travelling love:
1. the love of travelling - seeing places, meeting people, have a lot of fun with them and say goodbye 10 sec later;
2. falling in love with someone you meet while travelling.
Believe me - you can't combine them, but as soon as you found out about trove - you can't live without it.'
I think i already was in trove at this time. Maybe Bruxelles wasn't that interesting as a city - we still got to meet a lot of amazing people and had even more amazing moments and conversations. I think that's what makes trove worth it.

Day 2 / 16th of july:
This morning Ku greeted us by BOX'ing, which i teached him yesterdaynight. Super awesome! Not so cool is the fact that I also found the first negative thing about this hostel: the shower only gives a pisstraal of water...:(
We decided to go visit les Musées royaux des Beaux-Arts de Belgique, de Koninklijke Musea voor de Schone kunsten van België. It wasn't as cool as i hoped....lots of old portrets, which i personally think is boringor well - nice, but not a thousand times. The new part was amazing though! And also the temporary exposition of Joze Plecnik (also with things on his name, since he is a Slovenian architect) :)) On our way back we found a cool secondhand store, Sussies!
We ate our first Brusselse wafel, and then took a napppp.
Later that day we walked into Ku again and with him, our new Australian roommate Kahla and a real Italian LOCAL called Gaetano decided we to explore Bruxelles at night. We ended up in cute cafés i don't remember the name of, but this Spanish bar i think was called Il Mojito, was amazing. Like eating french fries in the middle of the night <3.

Day 3 / 17th of july:
Thank God for not listening to Kahla. She wanted to walk to the Atomium, but that was 5.6 damn kilometres...which already meant almost an hour by foot/bus/tram/underground/bus. Wow. But hey, we got to see some famous balls! Jepp... Then Vief came all the way from Gent to visit us! :)) And we ate wafels, like tourists do:
Urska: wafel + banana + strawberry + caramel
Kahla: wafel + banana + strawberry + chocolate
Vief: watel + chocolate
me: wafel + Nutella + whipping (that's what they wrote ;) cream
Urska and Kahla decided to check out the Dalí exhibition, while Vief and i took a look at Manneken Pis again. Still naked! And i wanted to see a costume so bad...Well. Back to the hostel again, since you don't really need more than one day to see Brussels itself.
We met a cute South-Korean girl. 'I'm here with boyfriend. Boyfriend, not loverboy!'
She was cute. 'Oh i need get umbrella! It starts peeing!' We took pictures, JAPANESE STYLE. (y)
We play pool again, Ku joins us again and we have good times again! The 'muffin and cupcake thing' started here, which means that a muffin is a cute boy and a cupcake is a bit less cute. We brought Vief back to the train station and after that didn't manage to find a cool place to hang out.. Or well, the best was the kebab-store, with 2 muffins.
'You want it spicy?' muffin: 'Yes, but im' sweet.'
'So, you (we) want it spicy?' muffin: 'No, they're sweet too.'
Ku: 'And you are muffins.'

Day 4 / 18th of july:
Goodbyes suck.
